It’s finally here. Blade Show 2017 starts this Friday and runs through Sunday (June 2-4). As the presenting sponsor we’ve been gearing up for months for this event, and we can’t wait to see you at the Show. While this is the largest knife show in the world, we’ve got so much more in store for you. Make sure you visit us at the show entrance and at Booth #22 (hang a left and keep walking til you hit a wall – you’ll see us). And, if I were you, I’d make sure that you checked out ALL of the SMKW signage at the show. You won’t regret it. We’ll see you this weekend at Blade Show at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta, GA.
Here are some other things going on right now at Smoky Mountain Knife Works!

Check out the new Rough Rider Copper Ridge Series of Traditional Pocketknives
The Rough Rider Copper Ridge Series of traditional pocketknives drew inspiration from old-time moonshiners. The series features genuine jigged buffalo bone handles adorned with copper bolsters and pins, as well as rose copper titanium coated 440A stainless steel blades. The Copper Ridge Series will start conversations for sure, and with a price tag of under $15, they just can’t be beat. Rough Rider included eight patterns in the Copper Ridge Series, including the Baby Trapper, Large Stockman, Large Trapper, Congress, Mini Trapper, Pen Knife, Large Lockback, and Medium Stockman Patterns. We think there’s a little something for everyone here.
We also note that Rough Rider fills the void left by Colt knives by introducing magnetic clasp display boxes. The Copper Ridge Series box includes a platform and a story to go along with the series.
Each knife in the series features true half-stops in all the blades – a tradition worth keeping in a quality slipjoint knife, as well as some pretty amazing fit and finish. We found almost no defects in the samples we were sent for review.

Throw the SOG Spirit. Don’t catch it.
We made an amazing offer to SOG on a closeout of the SOG Spirit Dagger – and they (unbelievably) accepted it. The SOG Spirit originally sold for over $20. While supplies last, you can get your hands on one right now for only $8.99! Go check it out.
The SOG Spirit Double Edged Dagger is an excellent outdoor cutting tool. This knife while being sharp enough for any cutting task can also be thrown, or used as a spear by unscrewing it’s handle and replacing it with a broom handle or tree branch.
Features: 420 stainless steel blade with black oxide coating. Black Glass-Reinforced Nylon handle. 4.25″ Spear Blade. 10.65″” overall. Includes set screw. Black nylon belt sheath.
